Services

Frostons Construction employ and work with some most talented builders and engineers in London that are supported by our specialist teams to deliver unique building services solutions.

Part of our services and in house solutions are listed below:

Steelwork & Frame Structuring

Fabrication and erection  are two main operations in construction of a framework using structural steel.

Some projects required fabrication of the steel to be carried out on site and Frostons is fully equipped to do so. Fabrication involves the processing of raw materials to form the finished members of the structure.

We use mechanical and electric lifts to install the steel beams, also heavy machinery to cut, drill, bolt together or weld making final connections between steel members on site.

Mechanical & Electrical Installation

Frostons mechanical and electrical services make buildings work better, more efficient, more sustainable and more cost effective.

By working with you from the initial consultation to a full design thru specification and cost estimate our team can ensure you benefit from new technologies saving time and money.

Our experts providing outstanding mechanical and electrical installation services, whether we are working on fit-out, new build, building refurbishment or plant replacement.

Concrete Works

Nearly every house or commercial alteration and every new build need some concrete works to be carried out.

Quite often type of concrete and reinforcement method is specified by engineer to provide adequate strength and stability.

Frostons concrete works is carried out by skilled team of formworkers and steel fixers.

We use machines for transferring liquid concrete by pumping and vibrating pokers are used to remove the air from the concrete in order to deliver quality results to our clients.

Piling

It’s vital to the structure of any build to have good experienced ground engineer.

There are many reasons a geotechnical engineer would recommend piling also called deep foundation over a shallow foundation.

Most common reasons are very large design loads, a poor soil at shallow depth, or site constraints.

Piles are generally driven into the ground in situ; other deep foundations are typically put in place using excavation and drilling.

Frostons can cater for most piling and retaining wall needs.

Our technical and logistical teams provide clients with flexible and reliable solutions to their foundation needs.

Underpinning

Underpinning is a method used to increase foundation depth or repairing faulty foundations strengthening and stabilizing existing building or other structure.

This might be the case if you plan to add stories to an existing property or when the foundation has been damaged or simply not strong or stable enough.

When the properties of the soil surrounding the foundation changed ( for example through subsidence e.g.) or when the construction of nearby buildings or structures necessitates the excavation of soil supporting existing foundations.

More and more during last 10 years in central London underpinning is commonly used during basement extension or conversion allowing our clients without moving out to create additional space needed.

Roofing

Frostons roofers team worked restoring listed buildings roofs using natural slate and also successfully completed many alterations, extension and new roofs. To create beautiful and safe –watertight roof our roofers work very closely with skilled carpenters and leadworkers.

During working on period roofs it’s very important to choose right colour and type of the roof tiles to match existing or to follow conservation officer requirements. Traditionally roof tiles are made of clay or slate.

We also completed roofs using modern materials like zinc or fibre glass.
